The Grand Elder declared as soon as the enforcer departed.

Confusion painted the face of the remaining four elders, as the elder on the far left as asked,

The Grand Elder snorted.

The Grand Elder nodded.

"You all need to understand that he has shown his true colours, and we don’t truly control him like we believed. He is a man who feels he has lost too much and has nothing more to lose."

" Such individuals are dangerous and should be avoided at all costs. I know some of you may underestimate him since he is only a Tier 7 Mage and you feel you can take him on, but I strongly advise against it. However, for now, we must address the matter of Alec," The Grand Elder explained.

"But how are we going to handle his situation?, You do know he currently studies at the War God Mage Academy, and no clan has the power to influence the events that occur there," an elder questioned.

"He is only a Tier 2 Mage. We don’t need to expend so much effort over a low-rank Mage. He can be used for training purposes for the younger generation in the outer branch, if they ever encounter him in the mage academics exchanges that take places," another elder suggested.

But due to their pride, most of them were still not ready to acknowledge this fact.

That is why they have been looking down on Alec for so long, simply because he is backed by Gordon’s clan, which is ranked as a mid-tier clan.

"All we have to do is support the faction opposing him, but in a discreet manner. I have information that they have already made attempts on Alec’s life and failed , and considering how they target Terran’s disciples, they will surely come for him again,"

The Grand Elder explained his plan, leaving the others wondering how long he had been plotting this.

The others were certain that he wouldn’t have formed such strong connections with the faction against Mad Dog in such a short amount of time, he must have been in contact with them for long.

"But don’t you think this plan could backfire if Mad Dog comes after us?" someone asked.

"Don’t worry, he would never expect someone from outside the institute to be behind what is about to happen. Since Our main target is not his beloved disciple Terran, but Alec. We just need to make things hard for Terran in order to make it easier to kill Alec,"

The Grand Elder said, a smirk forming on his face.
