Alec and the group wasted no time upon their return to the Academy; as they immediately divided the spoils equally between both groups.

It had been James who suggested that the twins receive no share earlier, given their behaviour towards Alec.

However, when Alec himself decided to give them a portion, James didn’t argue.

James could have gained more by withholding their share, but he respected Alec and appreciated the twins’ efforts during the Orc pursuit, Their teamwork had been crucial for their survival.

Once Alec was certain that everyone had received their proper share, they all went their separate ways.

Alec and the gang headed back to Terran’s Peak, rushing towards their rooms in a race to reach the High Tier 2 Mage Realm before one another.

Brandon observed their enthusiasm and joined them, hoping to consolidate his realm and make progress towards the Peak Of the Tier 2 Mage Realm.

Cause If he didn’t, his advantage over the others would soon disappear, and he would face Arthur’s never-ending taunts.

This was because the Centaur Prince was a Tier 8 lifeform, indicating that he had already constructed a domain that was at least two hundred meters wide to be able to enter the Tier 8 realm.

Such a massive domain compared to Alec’s mere ten-meter detection range which was not even a domain was pitiful and would go silent, completely ceasing its work when a very strong lifeform with a domain approached Alec.

This is why High-Rank assassins were dreaded, as they possessed skills that amplified their domains, making killing easier.

"We had a fruitful trip to the Abyss Realm, and now they’re all going to digest it quickly so they can break through faster than the next person. It’s kind of a friendly competition within the family," Alec explained, his initial jumpiness fading as he continued.

Terran hoped that Alec hadn’t caused yet another problem for him to resolve.

He had observed that trouble seemed to follow Alec wherever he went, and it wasn’t just small-time trouble, but conflicts that escalated into full-scale battles.

While their entire peak was in seclusion, the news of Alec and his gang entering the Abyss Realm again had exploded throughout the academy.

If the first entry was forced, it was clear that the second one was a voluntary decision from every member.

Not only had they ventured into the Abyss, a realm that most first-year students hadn’t even dreamed of entering, but they had also managed to turn a part of the region within the realm upside down.

News had just reached the academy hours later about an orc village and a group of plant army that had been chasing Alec and his group, suddenly turning against each other and engaging in a battle for the ownership of a nature mine.

This unexpected discovery caught the school off guard.

However, the fact that Alec and his gang had successfully executed a heist at that very mine and made it to the city gates drew attention from every student this time, and not from only the first years mages who wanted to know what their Rookie King was up to.

As rumours spread from the Abyss Realm, it was revealed that even Lucas Blade had joined Alec’s group in this adventure.

News and gossip continued to pour in from the seniors who were present in the Abyss when the incident occurred.

Many discussions revolved around Alec’s alleged use of a mana bomb that caused a persistent sandstorm in the region, making it difficult for lower-tier students to investigate the battle.

It was rumoured that a captain had decided to send a squad of highly experienced mages from the academy to take down the mine in the name of the institution.

However, to everyone’s surprise, the combined army of the orcs and plants ceased fighting and turned their aggression towards the humans.

They joined forces and defeated the human army, resulting in only a few mages being able to return from the army of seven hundred.

This event quickly became a shameful stain on the academy as a small group of mages had achieved what an entire army of mages, gathered by an academy official, could not.

The entire academy was in an uproar, with some first years even suggesting that the Rookie King, Alec, should be allowed to lead them in seeking revenge for the mages who had lost their lives.
