Chapter 301: Conspiracy Part 4.
The Blade Mage was both perplexed and frustrated by the turn of events.
He attempted to retrieve his sword back, but it was useless against the iron grip holding onto it.
Looking up slowly, he realized the source of his immobilization was a stone monkey Golem.
The monkey stood tall at about six feet, with fur covering its left hand.
Which left the mage Astonished , since the golem appeared to have a functioning arm with furs, muscle and blood different from the rest of its stone body, baffling the Blade Mage.
The Stone Monkey Golem met the blade Mage’s gaze with indifference, further fueling the Blade mage’s anger.
Ignoring the monkey’s presence, he sprinted away, leaving his blade behind.
Seizing the opportunity, the stone monkey flung the sword back, an it landed in the hands of the Fifth elder, who wore a wicked smile.
"Thank you for this generous gift, my friend from the Central kingdom," the Fifth elder said, his shamelessness leaving the blade Mage conflicted about whether to curse at him or blame his own inability to protect his weapon as a swordsman. Experience more tales on novelhall.Côm
"Do not underestimate me!" the blade Mage exclaimed as his spirit armor emitted a radiant glow, seemingly replenishing his mana at an accelerated rate, after fighting just now with Silas they have wasted a lot of mana trying to cast earth magic.
When the process was complete, he conjured two blades made of blueish light and charged at the Fifth elder once more.
"Don’t injure him too severely, Ape, I simply want to acquire their treasures. I don’t need another clan powerhouse coming after me, as those spoiled mages often come from big clans and that is how they behave when one of them is defeated,"
The Fifth elder instructed the Stone Monkey Golem , who nodded and grunted, stretching its hands towards the wooden golem.
The wooden golem snapped off one of its branches and manipulated its mana to alter its shape.
It then threw the transformed branch at the stone monkey, which caught it with its hands.
Employing one of the clan’s secret techniques, the blade Mage unleashed his clan secret technique

A massive sword materialized and charged towards the monkey.
In response, the monkey spun backwards, striking upwards with the newly transformed wooden staff.

And just like that, another battle came to a standstill as the Gordon clan proved to the mages who had looked down on them that they were in no way inferior.
However, it seemed as though they were holding back their powers due to some unknown reason.
While the Fourth elder and the Fifth elder took care of two Blade clan mages, the last one grew increasingly angry at the turn of events, cursing his luck.
He hoped that their fourth member was still around so they could gang up on one of the Gordon clan elders.
Gritting his teeth, he focused his gaze on Silas, who was weak and spitting blood after suffering from the backlash of using his life force in the fight.
Meanwhile, elsewhere, the Sixth elder of the Fridall clan and the last remaining Blade clan mage closed in on Aurora.
Just as they were beginning to feel hopeful about catching Aurora, they suddenly noticed a massive boulder hurtling towards them from behind.
Reacting quickly, the Fridall clan’s sixth elder and the Blade clan mage skillfully spread out, creating enough space for the boulder to pass by.
[< High Tier spell – Earth Escape >]
Upon hearing the name of the spell, the Fridall sixth elder frowned in annoyance and muttered,
"This fucker again."
Just before the boulder flew past them, they saw the Gordon patriarch emerge from within it, utilizing his Earth Escape skill to teleporting to the stone.
While this sight shocked the Blade clan mage, the Fridall sixth elder was unfazed, knowing exactly who was about to appear the moment he heard the spell.
Only one person in the Gordon clan was capable of utilizing such a spell.
The Fridall sixth elder shifted his gaze to the Gordon patriarch, who had his left hand resting on the hilt of his katana.
"Shit!" the sixth elder exclaimed.
Even Aurora, who had been running ahead, momentarily stopped when she sensed a familiar mana frequency manifest out of nowhere.
"Whoa, I’ve never witnessed such a high-level manipulation of an earth spell before. You just redirected the boulder towards us since you couldn’t catch up, while simultaneously using your mana to transport yourself to the already fast-moving boulder. What a spell," the Blade clan mage couldn’t help but admire the talent displayed by the patriarch.
"Bingo, but I didn’t come for you," the patriarch declared, his gaze shifting towards the Fridall clan’s sixth elder.
"However, I have the right company to keep you occupied. Terra, Warden, engage him."
As the patriarch spoke, two golems materialized behind him.
One of them was the Black golem that had stepped into the realm of Tier 7 with the patriarchs, and the golem he had used to do a display of power against the Lanzt clan patriarch, as it was still oozing a huge killing intent.
The second golem appeared to be crafted from an exceptionally rare stone as its entire body had a milky white hue.
After settling matters with the Blade clan mage and preparing to face the Fridall’s sixth elder, the patriarch turned to Aurora Blaze one last time.
"And what are you still doing here?, You should return to your clan to ensure that another maniac doesn’t use you as an excuse to threaten my clan again."
The patriarch gently nudged Aurora away with his head, and she respectfully bowed before him before summoning the beast contained within the ring Silas had given her.
With a final farewell, she flew away, leaving the patriarch behind.
Although the patriarch’s words seemed harsh, Aurora had come to understand that it was his way of showing affection, especially since what happened to his Third brother.
"Now, no more distractions, I do hope you’re not a clone this time, I don’t want any disappointments," the patriarch said with an evil smile as he finally unsheathed his katana, which seemed to radiate two different types of light.
On the other hand, the Fridall clan’s sixth elder had been frowning since George Gordons had appeared. He knew that his plans had just become meaningless.
"Fuck this!, why do you always have to spoil everything. " the sixth elder muttered in frustration.
