The Golem Mage

Chapter 295: Another Battle Arrangement.

Chapter 295: Another Battle Arrangement.

Terran stood in front of several high-ranking members of the academy, their gazes fixed on him from their elevated seats.

Even the new Dean was present, looking at Terran with a sense of helplessness.

the new Dean remembered that ever since he received his position from the previous Dean, most of the issues that arose were somehow connected to Terran, and this Wass when he was not even active.

He could only imagine how overwhelmed the old Dean must have been when Terran was more active and causing trouble throughout the Abyss Realm, particularly when he clashed with the Orcs.

The weight of all what he would face in the future caused the New Dean to let out a sigh as he rubbed his head with his palm.

"What brings you here again?" questioned the new Dean,

But before Alec could even attempt to explain that he himself had no idea why he was summoned.

Another mage, however, spoke up swiftly, beating him to it.

"It’s simple, Dean. Terran has once again proven that he cannot be trusted, He attempted to attack a mage in cultivation seclusion, which could have caused extensive damage that may not be easily treated," a mage from the left corner stated, pointing towards Terran.

"Tsk! And when did you become my spokesperson?, It’s about time you realize that some questions are not meant for you to answer," Terran retorted,

glaring at the Great Instructor, There was no trace of respect on his face, just a fierce determination that seemed ready to tear the Great Instructor apart in the next moment.

"You see, Dean?, You see how this kid talks to me!" The Great Instructor turned to the Dean, hoping for some punishment towards Terran.

Instead, the Dean raised his hand to silence him.

"What do you have to say for yourself, Terran?"

"It’s all bullshit, They’re trying to make Igor a victim here when nothing has happened to him, On the other hand, my students could have lost their lives because of his actions."

Terran couldn’t hold back his response as soon as the Dean posed his question, it was almost as if he had been anticipating it all along.

"Your disciples, How are they involved?, Did Igor attack a low-ranking Mage simply because he is your disciple?"

The Dean’s anger began to show, his raised eyebrow and sharp glint in his eyes revealing his frustration.

"No!"

"Then why are you bringing them into your defense?"

Mad Dog would have made a show of everything until he obtained the desired result.

"So, we have decided that this case shall be settled with a Martial battle between the disciples of both mages since disciples are the ones mainly affected , and Terran can choose the date for it!"

When the Great Instructor and the elders aligned with Igor’s father heard this, they almost jumped for joy.

It was no secret that Terran’s disciples were merely a group of Tier 2 mages.

There was no way they could compete against most of Igor’s disciples who had reached Tier 3, 4, realms in there eyes.

They might have been concerned about Terran’s chief disciple, but ever since the assassination attempt, they hadn’t heard anything from him or the assassin.

They concluded that his hunt was still ongoing, unaware of just how mistaken they were.

The mages they had sent were merely wasting time in the Abyss Realm.

In order to avoid appearing defeated, they felt ashamed for losing against someone they had belittled for so long.

"Two months from now, my new disciple Alec will come to challenge some of Igor’s disciples. If he wins, Igor must bow and apologize to all of my disciples. If he loses, I will bow and apologize to Igor myself," Terran declared.

The Great Instructors from the opposing faction erupted in protest, unable to fathom Igor bowing to someone as low as a Tier 2 mage.

"Tell me, what are you so afraid of?, Can Igor’s disciples not even handle a Tier 2 Mage defeating his disciples ?, Just remain silent, Igor has already caused quite enough trouble. It’s a deal," the Dean declared,

slamming a small hammer on the table to conclude the judgment.

Terran began to walk out of the hall, escorted by Mad Dog’s faction elders and Great instructors , who had been strangely quiet throughout the proceedings.

Many of them tried to inquire why Terran would agree to such a thing, but he refused to answer.

Alec had accepted a life and death battle with great confidence against Orion already.

So If he lost his life in the process, the clash would be considered void, and there would be nothing anyone could do about it.

However, if Alec possessed the power to win that life and death battle, it meant there was a high chance he could make Igor apologize.

Terran gazed up at the sky, contemplating,

"Just how many surprises will you give me from now on? I’m putting my faith in you!"
